WHY?
Fußball Salzburg, Red Bull Salzburg, RedBulls, Fußball Österreich On April 7th, Red Bull takes over the football club SV Austria Salzburg. The club`s general assembly decides in favour of the traditional violet and white colours. In reality, neither club crest, shirts (red and blue) nor any official club merchandise can be related to the great history of SV Austria Salzburg. Finally, unsuccessful talks with the new board meant that SV Austria Salzburg was founded on the 5th October 2005.
